Description
After meeting your guide and boarding the coach, travel to the Chianti region. Along the way, your guide will share insights about the landmarks visible on the route.
At the first winery, meet the winemakers and attend a brief introduction to the winery’s history and wine varieties. Join a guided tour of the facilities and surrounding vineyards, learning about the winemaking process, barrel crafting, and the criteria for Chianti Classico classification.
Enjoy a tasting session of 3-4 wines, accompanied by local snacks such as cheese, bread, olive oil, and salami. You will receive explanations for each wine and tips on savoring and understanding its qualities.
Next, continue by coach to the second winery, where you will learn about their unique production methods and the impact of weather on grape quality. After a guided tour of the facilities and vineyards, taste up to 3 wines while the local producer explains their distinct characteristics.
After some free time to relax or photograph the surroundings, return to Florence on the comfortable, air-conditioned GT coach.
