Description
Travel by air-conditioned 8-seat minivan to a farm in the Chianti region, about a 45-minute drive from Florence. After a brief horse introduction, enjoy a one-hour ride through vineyards, olive groves, and rolling hills. No previous riding experience is required.
Next, visit the nearby hilltop medieval town of San Gimignano, famous for its towers, narrow alleys, and local shops. This ancient village was founded by the Etruscans in the 3rd century BC. Here, sample gelato made by the world champion gelato maker Dondoli.
