La Versiliana

The Versiliana park at Marina di Pietrasanta extends on almost a million square metres, from Fiumetto to Forte dei Marmi. In the summertime it hosts an intense cultural programme of prose, ballet, music, cinema and cabaret, that confirms La Versiliana as one of the most prestigious place for cultural entertainment in Versilia. The park consists of a vast and dense pinewood around the famous villa that hosted the Italian poet Gabriele D’Annunzio. He lived here during the first years of the 1900s, and it is this pinewood that inspired the famous poem 'The Rain in the Pine Wood'. The Versiliana Café hosts readings and talk shows, presenting famous people from the world of culture, politics, journalism, entertainment and fashion.

Finally, the Children’s Versiliana is a creative space for children where they can play, listen to fables and enjoy children’s theatre shows.
