The planetarium in Florence organizes visits for adults and children as well as special lessons for school students. Reservations are required for all visits to the planetarium.
The planetarium, situated in the San Marco area close to the Academy Gallery, is located inside of a large dome, which can accommodate about 50 seated people.The visits are led by experienced astronomers of the Astrophysical Observatory of Arcetri in Florence.
You will be able to gaze at a reproduction of the movement of the celestial bodies, observe the position of the stars at different latitudes and many other interesting facts about our solar system.
