Description
This panoramic Grand Tour of Florence is a fun and exciting 1-hour-and-30-minute golf cart experience designed to showcase the city’s most iconic landmarks in total comfort, rain or shine. The tour begins and ends at Via Il Prato, in front of Villa de’ Medici, offering a central and elegant starting point for an immersive discovery of Florence.
From here, the route moves toward Porta al Prato and continues along the scenic Lungarno, where guests enjoy beautiful riverside views and elegant historic palaces. The drive passes Ponte Amerigo Vespucci and continues through key city highlights such as Piazza Ognissanti, where you can admire the impressive Hercules statue, and Piazza Goldoni, featuring the statue of Carlo Goldoni. Along the way, you will also pass the historic Palazzo Ferragamo (Palazzo Spini Feroni), an important symbol of Florentine fashion and craftsmanship.
The experience continues across Ponte alla Carraia and then Ponte Santa Trinita, one of the most elegant Renaissance bridges in Florence. From there, the route follows the ancient city walls, passing Porta San Frediano and Porta Romana, before reaching the green surroundings near the historic gardens. Here you will enjoy an external view of the Giardino di Boboli and the nearby Giardino Reale, both representing the grandeur of Florentine Renaissance landscaping (no entrance included).
The tour then continues along Viale Galileo Galilei, ascending toward the hills for one of the most breathtaking parts of the journey. At San Miniato al Monte, guests can admire one of the most spectacular panoramic viewpoints over Florence. The highlight follows at Piazzale Michelangelo, where the city opens up in a truly unforgettable skyline view, including the famous replica of Michelangelo’s David. Nearby, you will also see the Statue of Daniele Manin, adding another historical touchpoint to this iconic panoramic stop.
Finally, the route descends back toward Porta al Prato, completing a perfectly balanced experience that blends riverside elegance, Renaissance history, monumental viewpoints, and hidden gems into one seamless journey through Florence.
