The location is great for walking and the rooms were fine and soundproof. The room and bathroom were a little small but it was fine for only sleeping 2 nights. The air conditioning could not keep up with the heat
We got the family suite and couldn't have been happier with plenty of room for everyone! and while the hotel is not modern, everything worked and the staff was BEYOND FANTASTIC! They helped us find places to eat and shop. Gave local opinions for wine and even set us up in the breakfast room so we could play cards and drink the bottles of wines we found in the city. Breakfast was simple and delicious. Enough assortment that everyone found something they wanted but not too much that you go into decision paralsysis. A great place to stay if you are ever in Florence!
We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay in Florence. The staff was great, it is family run and you can tell by the pride of ownership. They members our names and didn’t laugh at our attempts to speak Italian! There are great restaurants nearby, and everything is within a few minutes walk. The room was nice ( a triple) and the bathroom roomy. Breakfast was delicious!
I had a great stay at Hotel City. The people at the reception desk were amazing in their recommendations and helping with any of my requests. You can’t beat the price for value. The room was clean and the bed was really soft (I slept a little uncomfortable because I prefer a firm mattress), but the stay overall was 5/5!
