We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Florence. The location was fantastic—within easy walking distance of all the major attractions, restaurants, and shopping, making it the perfect home base for exploring the city. Our room was larger than we expected, exceptionally comfortable, and offered an excellent value for the price. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was especially appreciated after long days of sightseeing in the Florentine heat. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. We were greeted with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco in our room, along with a welcome drink at the bar—a thoughtful touch that made our stay feel extra special. The wine selection was excellent, and the bartender each evening was incredibly friendly and made us look forward to relaxing there after a day of exploring. Breakfast was another highlight. There was a wonderful variety of delicious options, and the staff in the breakfast room truly stood out. They were warm, attentive, and incredibly welcoming, even remembering guests from one morning to the next. That personal touch made us feel right at home. Between the outstanding service, comfortable accommodations, great amenities, and unbeatable location, this hotel exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Florence!

This is such a beautiful and cozy place. We stayed in the garden area where the beautiful flowers was my view from my bed. Room service did a great job accommodating us. The rooms are very clean. The bathroom was spacious enough. The only drawback for me being an American, there were no small wash cloths but I was prepared by bring my own disposable ones. The breakfast was my favorite. It was my best and fulfilling food of the day. The breakfast staff was absolutely fantastic. Also, we received a complementary drink from the bar and they also offer free Popsicles which was great because it was hot there. Overall great experience and I would stay there again. Ciao!!!

We booked here through our travel agent. The staff were friendly and the place was very well kept. The rain style showers and the bidet were great ! The complimentary breakfast had a lot of options and was very good. And a special mention to the oriental woman who worked on the morning shift in the kitchen. She was very helpful and accommodating, as bringing us coffee and offering to fill up our water bottles with ice and fresh water. She was great !

From the time we booked, we had a great experience with Hotel Orto De' Medici. Alazne was extremely helpful with communicating answers to questions pre-arrival, including advice on transportation, booking museums/experiences and restaurants. Anything we needed, they were able to provide easily. During our stay, we found everyone who worked there to be kind, pleasant and knowledgeable. The breakfast was wonderful, rooms were clean and well appointed. Our kids found the hotel comfortable and enjoyable. The location is nice and easy to walk to and from all sights and easy to take the train through Tuscany. We would stay again in this great Boutique hotel.
