Reviews
The hotel is nice, the rooms are specious and you get 50min free spa access (jacuzzi,Sunna ) the breakfast is average but good to have if you are running on the go on a schedule! The hotel is 20min walk from the center, its a nice walk we did not mind it. The staff are so helpful and professional specially Alessandro! Recommend if you are looking for something away from the noise and center and if you are staying for more than 3 nights.
Rooms was pretty meh. The floorboards next to our bathroom was sticking outwards which made it a trip hazard. The bathroom door had a loud creaking sound when you open and close it so that made me jump constantly. The room itself was really cold with the heating not working. No soundproofing at all, can hear other people from down the corridor!! Other than that i thought the breakfast was really nice and i really enjoyed the spa. Overall, hotel was average
I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I booked this hotel based on its strong ratings, so I feel obliged to share our experience. While the bed was comfortable and the hotel generally clean, the stay was disappointing overall. The noise from the road in Room 102 was unbearable - I couldn’t sleep at all the first night, even with earplugs. The air conditioning didn’t work, leaving the room at 26-29°C in the evening despite 13°C outside. Several things were below expectations: the reception/spa staff were unwelcoming (aside from the lovely cleaning staff) and the in-room coffee machine was broken. The spa experience was poorly managed - limited to 50 minutes, no information about it at all at check-in, no robes as promised, and only luke warm drinking water on arrival. It looked much better online than in person. Breakfast was also disappointing, with very poor hot food and meats. The only positives were the pastries and juices - coffee was just Nespresso, not proper Italian coffee. It’s somewhat convenient but after a whole day of walking, getting back to the hotel from the centre can take 30-40 minutes so we ended up getting a taxi most evenings. Overall, not worth the rating and not a place I would return to or recommend, spend the extra money and stay somewhere more central.
By the third day our waiter brought my coffee without me having to order it. The breakfast was delicious, junior suite comfortable and spacious. Very quiet. Beds made to perfection each day. The spa was relaxing. 20 minute safe walk into the centre. I would recommend ✅
Hotel is located in a residential neighbourhood, about twenty five minutes walk from the Duomo and the Old City. Rooms are comfortable with a well appointed bathroom. Three Star standard. Unfortunately, the sound proofing between the rooms was extremely poor. It was possible to hear conversations, alarms and texts, from the adjacent room. The lift and automatic doors opening and closing all night, made for very disturbed sleep. That aside, the complimentary breakfast was extensive and varied and serving staff were friendly. In addition, there is also a Spa in the basement, which you need to book in advance, with sauna, steam and jacuzzi, is a nice feature. Overall experience was good, other than the noise issue.
