Highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Florence! I stayed for a week with my mom in a twin room with a duomo view, and it was absolutely wonderful! The location can’t be beat, it’s steps away from the duomo and never more than a 15 min walk to all the other big sights and museums. The room is also very spacious compared to most other European hotels I’ve stayed in, we were able to fit two large unfolded suitcases, there was a table and chairs, and a wardrobe for more storage. The bathroom of course is small, but again, better than other hotels I’ve stayed at. The staff were fantastic and we loved it. My only warning would be if you want to sleep in you might struggle because the bells go off at 7 am each morning, but we were up and moving early everyday so it didn’t bother us, it was cool!
In Florence, we ended up staying at Residenza Giotto! I have to say this place was perfect for his location. Right beside the Dumo, and around a ton of shopping and restaurants. The one thing I can say about this place as I felt very safe as there was two security doors to go in and out of. The service was unbelievable. Priscllia was so amazing. sending us perfect directions, checking on us and making sure that we were OK before we even got there. Then when we did get there, she was so extremely nice and gave us the in’s and out’s of Florence. The room was a perfect size for just my wife and I. The bed is so comfortable, and it actually felt like home for the days that you were there. I would recommend this place for anybody who wants to be in the middle of the action. With that being said it was not noisy at night and it was very peaceful just being in this place. Thank you for making our stay that much better in Florence.
