Reviews
I had a one night stay at UNA in Florence. The rooms were interesting with the decor but I had a beautiful view outside my window. The bathroom was big and shower worked well. The AC was decent for Europe. The breakfast was honestly the best part! Great selection of food and an amazing cappuccino machine. Would stay again.
I was just here for a night. Pros: -Very helpful and friendly reception service. -Lots of options available for breakfast -Attached restaurant offers very good dinner (vegetarian options available) -Location -Room was spacious Cons: -Room is old and smells a little damp -AC does not cool down below 26 C although settings available until 16 C
The room quality was disappointing. The accommodation is old, the bathroom was outdated and almost out of order, lighting was inadequate, and the ventilation was terrible. We were provided with only one bottle of water for two people for a two-day stay, and almost every simple request or question was met with “you need to buy that.” Breakfast was good, but it was nothing special and comparable to what you can find in 95% of hotels. Overall, the property did not offer good value for the price, and I expected a much better experience.
I want too give the hotel both 3 stars and 5 stars but you need to read my review first to understand why. By arriving to the hotel we got a room wich was a sadly room. Dirty, unfunctional, ready to fall. Dirty bathroom, dusty walls, one of the shower’s didnt work, the bar table infront of bed ready to fall. Well see my pictures to understand. Complained to the reception wasnt kept up well, the man behind was not so interested in our complaints. He also was a little bit rude to my wife. Well the day after the women receptionist showed us what service is. She was incredible, all stars to her. New room, bigger size, personal letter and cookies by the bed. She was everything a customer needs in service and complaining guests. A real star.
