We had a very pleasant stay at Villa Neroli. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The hotel is located outside the main tourist area, which we actually appreciated because it was peaceful and quiet, with no noise or crowds. Getting to the city centre was still very easy, as there is a bus stop nearby with convenient connections. We also had a parking space at the hotel, which was a big advantage. Considering Florence's ZTL restrictions, we preferred to leave the car at the hotel and use public transport instead of risking driving around the city. The pool was especially nice during the hot summer days. It was never too crowded during our stay, and we were always able to find available sun loungers. Breakfast was decent. The selection is not particularly large, but there is enough variety to find something for everyone. The cocktails by the pool were probably the weakest point for us. They were fairly average and a little overpriced considering the quality. The staff were friendly and helpful, and communication in English was never a problem. Overall, Villa Neroli is a great choice if you are looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay in Florence, especially if you are travelling by car and do not mind taking a short bus ride into the city centre.

Very nice hotel located in a quiet area on the outskirts of Florence. Well connected by public transport. Pros: The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and clean. The common areas are very nice, especially the pool and front garden, where you can have breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The personnel are very kind. Especially the man in charge of the pool bar (who also waits during dinners at the restaurant), and the girl working the afternoon shift. Things that could improve: The breakfast could be improved. It is below average, given the hotel standards. The "sweet offering" is very limited, 1 or 2 cakes, standard pasticcerie, no salmon, and dry scrambled eggs. On 2 out of the 3 nights spent here, there were blackouts during the evenings, lasting for hours. It is not on the hotel apparently, as it's some sort of problem with the power grid, however, the hotel's power plant is not working properly (so I was told), so it couldn't power the building. Leaving elevators, access keys, lights, etc, without functioning. This power plant, is right next to the pool. Given the fact that it malfunctions, it starts and stops several times per hour, shooting a cloud of black smoke to where you are seating. Plus it makes a not-so-relaxing noise. Finally, the carpets in the halls are severely stained with bleach, moisture, etc. Though I think these are in the process of being changed.

Great hotel. Nice rooms, great beds, friendly service. Breakfast is good and the restaurant later in the day has great food. Gym is actually very nice, also have a great sauna and pool area. We didnt have a tub which is too bad but both times we stayed here I have really liked it!!

Great hotel! The accommodations were clean and comfortable and the grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed the sauna and wellness area. It was very convenient to get a taxi into town. The breakfast spread was great as well. Gem of a place!

Hello, we stayed at Villa Neroli for two nights at the beginning of March. As can be seen in the attached image, I made the booking via Booking.com for a 60-square-metre connecting room for three people, even though it was more expensive. When I entered the room, I realised it wasn’t the room I’d booked, but simply a room with three beds. I immediately went down to reception, explained the situation to the staff member and showed them the Booking.com reservation; they told me I was right but that there was nothing they could do at that moment. In short, neither the hotel management nor Booking.com resolved the issue during my stay. In fact, they wrote to me stating that the booking had been made through their own partners rather than their own system. I made the booking through their own website and paid them directly. I don’t believe it is my responsibility to know where they sourced the room from or to be held accountable for it. Despite all this, the hotel was clean, the staff were polite, and the breakfast was above average. However, despite it being early March and the weather being cold, there was a massive mosquito problem in and around the hotel.
