Reviews
What a wonderful place! Absolutely loved the rooms and the pool. Maybe offer earplugs for the rooms by the road. Also make it easier to order drinks by the pool rather than getting dressed to go in and order and be told to go outside. But all in all we absolutely loved this hotel. It’s classy and pretty. Definitely stay here!
A beautiful property about 15 minutes away from the old town. It’s quiet and feels like a resort and is yet close to the city center so you get the best of both worlds here. A personalised concierge and guest relations service is available via WhatsApp which was awesome and the staff were also polite and helpful. The restaurant at the hotel has an amazing florentine steak. I would definitely consider coming back here. Would highly recommend Villa Sull Arno.
Fantastic staff, great hotel with good facilities. It is a little out of town and takes around 30 minutes at a good pace to walk into the centre of Florence. It is like a little Oasis away from the crowds of Florence. Quality of the breakfast was great with plenty of variety and the rooms very clean and well appointed. Hotel does provide a free shuttle throughout the day and early evening which is very reliable. We stayed for 4 nights at the beginning of June 2026
We loved our stay! We (sadly!) only stayed for one night, but we really loved the warm greeting and classic good service from all staff we encountered. The hotel is thoughtfully decorated with a mixture of old and new, blending together seamlessly. Everything was immaculate and I wish I had taken more photos! It's relatively small but feels like a proper boutique hotel. There is a shuttle service a few times in the morning to take you to the actual centre, and we were driven safely, unlike in other places! The food was gorgeous and felt like a real treat. We had a three course meal plus entrée/amuse-bouche, and couldn't fault it. Breakfast was also great! The spa was very small but honestly the perfect space for an hour's relaxation! Sadly we didn't get to use the pool as we were short on time, but I'm sure it's a real treat in the summer. Thank you to the staff members, from the front desk to the cleaning staff, the dinner team and breakfast staff, and Laura Trambusti who met with us to discuss an event and patiently answered all our questions. We look forward to returning in the future!
Ville sull’Arno – A Peaceful Riverside Oasis Just Outside Florence’s Buzz. This elegant 5-star hotel occupies a historic villa right on Lungarno Cristoforo Colombo. it’s about a 25–30 minute scenic walk along the river into the heart of Florence. the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service to the center, it’s very convenient, although the frequency is limited. The room is spacious, tastefully decorated with a mix of contemporary design and subtle Tuscan/Renaissance touches. I loved the high ceilings, comfortable beds, especially the bathroom with a huge bathtub. Breakfast is a real standout: a generous buffet with fresh pastries, seasonal fruits, cheeses, cold cuts, eggs, veggies, and raw honey! Overall it’s luxurious yet relaxing.
