Good, sparsely "filled" pizzas, similarly modest use of pasta and of ingredients, yet for overpriced and overtouristed Florence it offers a fair value for price. Very positive: It does NOT charge the absurd "coperto" (pay for cuttlery and napkin, unique in Italy) per person. Staff can be a bit rough around the edges. Location close to main station.
Very disappointing dinner experience. We ordered tagliatelle with mushrooms, but instead were served tortellini. The dish was not replaced, which was frustrating. It was also listed as “fresco” (fresh, homemade), but it honestly tasted like store-bought pasta. The cream sauce was good, but that didn’t save the dish. We also ordered potatoes with chicken - it was very basic, like homemade food, and definitely not worth the price. The place itself also needs renovation, especially the interior and the restroom. Overall, it’s just a place to satisfy hunger, nothing more - no real enjoyment or experience.
We had lunch and dinners here because it was delicious and close to our hotel. People are very nice and food is absolutely good. I took omelette, spinaci, pasta, verdure grigliate etc. All was good
Popped in here for a quick pizza as I was on the area. Friendly hostess and waiter. Good atmosphere, of you are a visiting tourist there are lots of things to ooo and ahh about. I ordered a pizza and got it maybe 5 minutes later. As are most pizzas in this city and country it was delicious. Whole eating my delicious, quick, reasonably priced pizza I noticed a lot of good looking restaurant food being served as well. I didn't taste any of it but I will absolutely consider coming back to do so next time I'm in the area. It looked like the real deal. Picture isn't the best just something quick I snapped to show my wife that I was indeed eating pizza while I was texting her.
One of the best places to eat in Italy, especially considering its location near Santa Maria Novella Station. Not to mention the amazing service we received as foreigners in Florence, absolutely top-notch. The staff speaks English as well, although it’s always nice to try a bit of their language too. The food recommendations were excellent, the Aperol Spritz was perfect, and overall the pricing for dinner was very reasonable for the quality provided. Highly recommended.
