We were looking for restaurants near our hotel during the heatwave and found this place. While it did not stop us from sweating during the entire meal both the served fillet and the housewine were fantastic. The atmosphere was also very lovely with beautiful paintings on the ceiling. We were confused as our waiter suddenly left during our stay but we quickly got assigned a new waiter.
This was absolutely out of this world good! Everything we had was packed with flavour. The porcini mushroom and truffle risotto was just a thing of beauty. We finished with a Bistecca Fiorentina … perfectly cooked … no funny flavours, the meat did the talking. The house red, Chianti was perfect with the steak and roast potatoes. The service was efficient but not rushed. Just brilliant … you have to try!
Ordered the florintine steak, decided to order the local Tuscany cut. Amazing! They bring it out first to show you the cut before cooking, dont be intimidated! We ordered a pasta dish, a side of potatoes, and the florintine steak. They were all incredibly delicious. A tip to those traveling as couples, if you order the steak, I would say split the steak between two people, and order a side and 🍸, it will be perfect. I usually consider myself a big eater, but it is a lot for one!
We stumbled upon this restaurant completely by chance, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our time in Florence. Despite not having a reservation, the staff kindly accommodated us and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The steak was absolutely outstanding, easily one of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and unforgettable. Every dish we tried was delicious, and the quality of the food really stood out. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. The atmosphere made for a perfect romantic dinner. If you’re looking for an authentic and memorable dining experience in Florence, I highly recommend this place.
I visited this restaurant for my mum’s birthday dinner, and I’m honestly so happy we chose this place. She absolutely loved it, and the whole evening felt really special. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the food was delicious, and the service was truly professional. We’ve been to many restaurants abroad, so we had certain expectations—but this experience exceeded them. It’s not always the case - you won’t get disappointed. A special thank you to our waiter, Nori, who provided excellent customer service. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and accommodating—exactly how a great waiter should be. He really made our evening even more enjoyable. The quality of the food compared to the prices was also very good. We would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion—whether it’s a special event, a date, a family dinner, or even just a casual meal. Thank you so much for such a lovely experience. 10/10! 🌟
