We had shared bruschetta, spaghetti vongole and pasta with tomato and aubergine, all were very tasty. Good service and delicious Chianti which was great price @ €6. The beer was a bit pricey at €8 though. We sat inside which had a good authentic feel, with lots of choice of wine. We also were given 20% off food voucher!
Truly the best meal I’ve had in a very long time! The Risotto con salsicca e porri was such a well balanced dish and is definitely something I’ll be dreaming about! La Bistecca…. Where do I even start? You must try it, it’s a very good portion (for two people at least!) very fresh, cooked to absolute perfection!!! Diana was an absolute pleasure to speak with, very bubbly and sweet.
A very cozy and pleasant place with fair prices. The staff speak English and are very friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious, and I really enjoyed my visit. Highly recommended!
Osteria Lucignolo is a favourite restaurant and definitely in my top dinner eats in Florence. My husband found it through Google reviews for a family dinner and it certainly did not disappoint - we were greeted by a welcome drink while we waited for our table (definitely would suggest making a reservation), and then when invited inside I immediately loved it. A homey place full of knick knacks but complemented by top tier dining. We had the chianti classico wine paired with crostini misti, in addition to different pastas, the beef tartare, and the burger, all of which were exceptional. The waitress we had was amazing, attentive but also very helpful. We ordered two tiramisus for dessert and these were HEAVENLY. We ended up ordering four in total, I'm still thinking of it - done to perfection. If we had more nights in Florence we definitely would have been back the next evening! Loved it and thank you lovely staff, a warm send off from Firenze.
Warm & atmospheric Osteria recommended by Air BB family I am staying with. Classic and simple menu of well executed Tuscan favourites. Service was super friendly and despite being busy on a Tuesday night, found me a nice table for one. Had the Pici with sausage and truffles which was lovely.
