My family and I had two great nights here with our server Agushi! He was super nice, and we shared many laughs with him. The food was fantastic! We had pasta one night and steak another night and it was cooked perfectly! If you are in Florence, definitely come here!

We stumbled pass this place and decided to try it as the reviews were glowing and there was no queue. We were seated right away, but it took awhile for our waiter to take our order- despite it not seeming very busy as there were a few empty tables around us. The group (4) next to us seemed to be having great service on the other hand. Both tables had the same waiter, he took our order and only provided service to the table seated next to us for the remainder of our dinner. We were left with different waiters throughout our dinner thereafter. Seems as though we were forgotten, despite watching the table next to us receive excellent service. We ordered the sliced chianina with porcini mushrooms and fresh truffle & the ravioli with pecorino, honey, orange butter and nuts. The sliced chianina was in my top dishes during our visit to Italy (ex. Rome, Florence, Venice, Pisa, Milan). The sauce with the porcini mushrooms and truffle was the perfect savory taste to accompany the tenderness of the chianina, and the arugula added a freshness to the dish. The ravioli was a smaller portion than we expected, also given the price. It was light tasting and the texture was just right. For dessert, we had the crème brûlée flambé and the zuccotto. The crème brûlée had a smooth texture, cooked just right with a hint of lemon in the custard. The zuccotto was similar to an ice cream cake with sponge cake soaked in a berry juice. It was fun to try and made a good choice given the hot weather we were having. Overall, the food is wonderful, but we got the feeling that we were being forgotten by service and reminded of that given the table next to us was ordering more dishes than us…

We had a very good first dinner in Florence here. I ordered the Costata alla Fiorentina (Ribeye steak bone on). Prepared in the traditional Florentine style: grilled simply over high heat with just salt, pepper, and a bit of olive oil. The meat had excellent flavor and good marbling. I requested medium (pink inside), but it came out more on the rare side. Still very tasty, just a note for future orders on doneness preference. At 25oz its a big steak but a good appetite can handle it! The steak was €50 which is a fair price for the size. My wife had the salad with chicken, and we shared the Fagioli all’Uccelletto (Tuscan white beans in tomato sauce with sage and garlic). The beans were delicious and generous enough for two. We also had the bread service (coperto) at €3 per person. I recommend reservations, by 7:30pm the inside was packed. Overall a solid, authentic Florentine steakhouse experience and a great start to tasting the cuisine of Florence!

We really enjoyed the food here - so much that we returned the next night, just so we could try different items on the menu! The handmade pasta was delicious (pica, and tagliatelle), and we ended with the outstanding Black Angus slices. On our first night, we enjoyed the sausage and cannelloni and ossobuco. As a bonus, the wine window was great as well. We highly recommend this restaurant - there is a good s chance we will return before we leave Florence!

Wow. Favorite meal of the week in the highly competitive Firenze dining scene. The menu is extensive, they cover all the bases, salad, pastas, and dry aged beef. Pro tip. Difficult to get dinner reservations, so consider a lunch reservation. Personally I like dining indoors, find the street a bit too noisy to be relaxing. Location is great 5 minutes from the train station . Even the bottled water is top quality. Aqua Toscana. Back to the food. Had a bacon wrapped fillet. Among the best I’ve ever had. Pasta was perfectly al dente. Wine list is solid- he sure to go local with a Tuscan wine. And service - well polished as you would expect at a high quality restaurant
