Best stay in Florence - hospitality, comfort, location. Could not have had a better experience than at Palazzo di Camugliano. The concierge was so kind and accommodating ensuring we had the best experience possible as it related to logistics and travel. The breakfast was delightful in the garden and the room was an impressive display of Florentine history. Would recommend to anyone.
This was our second stay at this hotel, and we can't wait to go back. The location, service and general sizing of rooms make it a great place to stay for longer periods of time. We were grateful that we had a week here.
I fell in love with this place. The rooms are very spacious, the medieval palace vibes are very warm, and the staff are super friendly. The location is the best you can ask for in Florence where everywhere you will visit is a 15 minute walk at most. The rooms are a little pricey but worth it in my opinion.
This hotel, and I hesitate to use that word, is...art, simply put. The most beautiful hotel room (and hotel) I have ever stayed at. Tucked away in a quiet(ish) alley, it is an absolute retreat. The garden is splendid, and extremely well attended to. We stayed in the Alcova Junior Suite...absolutely no regrets - I highly recommend you splurge a little. Nothing like waking up to art, and chilling in the absolutely massive jacuzzi. Service is absolutely up to par with the physical beauty of the hotel. Special shout out to Yusuf, who when not meticulously attending to the garden, maintains an amazing level of service otherwise. Breakfast is bomb! Location - can walk anywhere and everywhere, no problem. Only thing I would say is don't be deceived by it's proximity to the train station - if you have luggage, take a cab, and save your knees (and wheels).
I stayed in a charming and stunning loft apartment that exceeded all my expectations. The view of the garden made me feel as if I had my own private sanctuary, creating a sense of peace and intimacy throughout my stay. The palace itself is breathtaking and wonderfully cozy, blending elegance with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff at the palazzo were exceptionally friendly, kind, and genuinely helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed. Exploring Florence from a palace right in the heart of the city felt like stepping into another era—a truly unforgettable experience. I can highly recommend this place to anyone looking for both comfort and a touch of magic in Florence.
