San Pier Novello in Oltrarno B&B
Florence
Avis
A beautiful stay in a quiet area of Florence. The rooms - wow! Without doubt the prettiest room we have ever stayed in. Martina was a brilliant host and the breakfast was full of delights made by her family. Would recommend to everyone visiting!
I absolutely LOVED our stay here. The location was so perfect because the B&B is in a neighborhood so quiet you could hear a pin drop, yet the walkability to the city center and all the things to do is super easy and quick. It is a family-owned B&B and you can really feel that during your stay there because the hosts are so warm and so friendly and it was truly such a lovely welcome to Florence. The daily breakfast was very varied and super delicious. The room itself that we stayed in was one with unbelievably beautiful frescoes on the wall, and it was such a beautiful experience waking up every day and seeing those as the first thing you see when you wake up; truly such a unique B&B to stay at. Also, my husband and I slept like absolute rocks; the mattresses were incredibly comfortable; and this is coming from someone who is extremely picky about beds when staying at a hotel or B&B. Pillows were great too. I've already recommended this B&B to family who plans to visit Florence later this year. I 100% recommend that you come stay here.
Martina looked after us from our arrival with outstanding hospitality. James and I couldn't believe our eyes at the wonderful frescos that adorned the walls. It felt like you were in your own Florence chapel as you lay in bed. The amenities were lovely and the house is beautifully rustic. We were so lucky to meet with the grandpa who grew up there and the house had such a wonderful historical feel. Would definitely recommend for the service, location and magical experience. In a great area of town on the outskirts of the tourist hustle and bustle, but still in 15mins walk from anywhere you'd like to explore.
An exceptional experience that we will never forget. Martina was beyond hospitable and we were lucky enough to meet her Grandparents who told us all about the old building, which was magical. The frescoes are wonderful and we just lay there admiring them. The house is beautiful and quiet just off the street. It is easily walkable to all the major sites and in a less touristy part of town, which was great for restaurants on the square.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this unique B&B, which is located in the quiet old Oltrarno district. The warm welcome from Martina, who provided all the necessary tips for lovely trattorias and restaurants in the area. We loved the breakfeast, especially the home-baked cakes and savory pies made by Maria. The room with the terrace met all our expectations and was very romantic. All the major sights are within walking distance; just walk down the street and you're on the Ponte Vecchio in 10 minutes. This B&B is completely in harmony with Florence, which we highly recommend ❤️
