Great location with quality decor and service without being over the top. The food was clearly prepared with care and very tasty and a pleasant location with a surrounding panorama of the city if not a complete view of the cityscape highlights or the horizon from all tables. A very pleasant evening.
The place is beautiful, the details of the dishes are lovely, and the staff is kind. My only disappointment was the view. For a rooftop, only a few tables actually seem to have a nice view, and unfortunately, from our table, we couldn’t see anything at all. We were able to walk in without a reservation, which was very convenient, and the place is also dog-friendly. The waiters were really kind and attentive. One of them recommended a cocktail that turned out not to be available, which was a little strange, but honestly, not a big deal! Overall, a very nice place with a beautiful atmosphere, and the food looked really good as well.
Amazing lunch with incredible views! The bruschetta was amazing, the tomatoes were so fresh! The atmosphere was great and the servers were excellent. We made a reservation in advance but it wasn’t too crowded for lunch on a Saturday. Highly recommend if you want a great rooftop vibe and good food!
Great views, food is decent but pricey Angel Rooftop offers some of the best views over Florence, especially at sunset with the Duomo in the background. The setting alone makes it worth a visit. Food is good though not exceptional for the price point. You are mainly paying for the location and atmosphere. Drinks are well made. Service is super attentive. Gets busy in the evening so booking ahead is recommended. A great spot for a special occasion or pre-dinner drinks rather than a full meal if you are watching the budget.
Angel Rooftop is, without exaggeration, the most beautiful and aesthetically pleasing rooftop I’ve come across. They have a layered multiple levels rooftop, and the foliage woven throughout gives the whole space a unique, almost secret-garden charm. Every corner feels intentional and inviting. At the bar we met Alice, who was so welcoming every time we came in to the hotel and helped us navigate the city with some tour guide tips. We had both lunch and breakfast here, and Mara the manager, took exceptional care of us throughout. Her service was warm and attentive. Breakfast by the pool fountain was a highlight: the shade and gentle breeze made for the perfect setting to start the day. If you’re staying at the hotel, get breakfast included — you won’t regret it.
