Nugolo is the perfect restaurant for a perfect dinner in Firenze. The service is friendly and the atmosphere inside and outside is wonderful. We enjoyed the 5-course menu with the wine pairing. It was amazing. The wines come from small wineries and are picked with love and taste delicious. The menu is really creative, tasty and perfectly arranged. We enjoyed it really much and would definitely come back, thank you!
A creative experience here. 🎨 The dishes were beautifully presented and so delicious. 😋 The atmosphere was nice too. However, the service was a bit inconsistent during my visit. 🤷♀️ Still, worth checking out! ✨
My husband and I loved our visit to Nugolo. We found the staff to be extremely professional and really passionate about their food and wine. It felt like they were authentic, relaxed and having a real sense of pleasure in their work which created a magical atmosphere. The kitchen is open and it's the first time I have noticed chefs working in a way that almost felt like a performance art. Not because they were doing anything theatrical but because all five chefs were constantly and continually moving in harmony. It gives a small sense of how much work goes into creating each dish, although I am sure a lot of preparation is also done before service. The food is very special and has an energising effect, which I guess is down to the quality of ingredients, the cooking and the combinations. The wines were from small producers which we love because it is great to support people doing exceptional things. We can't wait to visit again.
An absolutely superb dining experience. The tasting menu is incredibly creative, with lots of seasonal produce. Wine pairings are excellent; I enjoyed every single one. Service is brilliant as well.
Out of all the places we’ve been in Florence, this was by far the most creative and sophisticated in terms of the food quality. We enjoyed every single dish with very exciting presentations and flavours. The general service was good, and even after my pasta dish arriving not hot, the kitchen prepared me a fresh and hot pasta dish and I really enjoyed the food. The only comment was on the glasses - they didn’t seem to like to collect empty ones and they were piling up but that is a very small detail. This place is very reasonable for the quality you will get and must visit if you have a short stay in Florence.
