Great meal for our group of 8. This is not a tourist restaurant and that made us very happy. The food was delicious and the staff was very patient with us and our limited Italian language. Cost about $35 pp for appetizers, cocktails, wine and mains
Thank you for giving is an authentic Italian meal! The service was good, decent english but chatted with our broken Italian as well. The wine was great, the pizza and the pasta were both very tasty. Feels like a homey local joint and that is amazing when you are in a different country and want to try something not catering to tourists
The service and the food here are amazing. Being a neighbourhood restaurant the prices are really friendly for Florence. We totally recommend coming and trying their amazing food.
My partner and I LOVED this place! Stayes in Firenze for four days, and ate here thrice, which kinda sums it up how well we felt in this osteria. Had the marinara pizza every day, and also had the picanha steak, the pizza bianca with fresh tomatoes, mozarella and basil, as well as the prosciutto & funghi. I probably forget some dishes we had, though we thoroughly liked each meal we had here. The marinara is probably the best pizza I had since I can remember; simple recipe, savory pomodoro sauce, fresh oregano and garlic, on a thin, delicious crust. Genuinely I can't describe it and do it justice. Pure love. The staff is friendly, joyous, and very kind. The atmosphere is everything you hope and/or imagine the good side of Italy would be. 10/10 recommend and will visit again!
