This was one of our favorite dinners in Florence. Nothing felt touristy or rushed—just great food, kind service, and a relaxed atmosphere. We sat outside, which was charming and perfect for a warm summer evening. Every dish was delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the seafood was incredibly fresh, and everything tasted homemade. The carbonara was the surprise favorite of the night. Our kids are obsessed with it and haven’t stopped talking about it. It was a wonderful start to our time in Florence.

Amazing service, staff was very friendly! We celebrated birthday of our friend and staff brought a cake with a candle and sang happy birthday song 😃 they also helped with choosing best wine and food to go with it. I tried octopus dish and tiramisu, they were good.

The steak is wonderfully aromatic with the perfect thickness; it tastes richer the more you chew. The sea bass with mashed potatoes is absolutely delicious, and the pairing delivers a rich, mellow flavor. All the seafood is incredibly fresh. The seafood pasta, which also has hints of sea bass, is full of robust flavor. I’d recommend asking for less salt when ordering—it tastes even better that way. I’ve dined here two days in a row and their service staff, like Giovanni, are extremely warm and welcoming! highly recommend this place!

We had an excellent meal at Il Ricettario, and it was one of the most authentic dining experiences of our trip. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere with a modern Tuscan feel, making it a great place to relax and enjoy traditional Italian food. We started with the Capocollo and Pecorino Antipasto, which was absolutely delicious. The capocollo was fresh and flavorful, paired perfectly with slices of pecorino cheese, cherry tomatoes, and a drizzle of olive oil. It was a simple dish made with high-quality ingredients that really showcased the flavors of Tuscany. For the main course, we enjoyed the homemade Tagliatelle Bolognese from Mugello, and it was outstanding. The pasta tasted freshly made, cooked perfectly al dente, and covered in a rich, hearty meat sauce full of flavor. Topped with freshly grated cheese, every bite was better than the last. The fresh bread was excellent for soaking up the sauce, and an ice-cold Peroni was the perfect accompaniment to the meal. What stood out most was the authenticity of the food. Nothing felt rushed or touristy. The dishes were prepared with care, the ingredients were fresh, and the flavors reflected true Tuscan cooking. If you’re looking for authentic homemade pasta and traditional Tuscan cuisine, Il Ricettario is a must visit. The Capocollo and Pecorino Antipasto and the Tagliatelle Bolognese were both exceptional. We would gladly return on our next visit to Italy. 🇮🇹🍝🍺✨

I had a dinner for 2. It was a cozy restaurant with the wonderful foo, crowded with both the locals and tourists. We tried pasta, prosciutto, and seafood. All met our expectation. The pricing also was reasonable. 30 euro / person. Recommended if you look for the comfortable restaurant
