Do yourself a favor and go here for lunch, dinner whatever. I literally dream about these sandwiches. Highly recommend anything with the mushroom or spicy sauce, both are amazing. Every sandwich is like 4-6 euros, cocktails are the same so you can eat and drink like a king for less than literally every other place in the city. When I lived in Florence I went here almost every day, should I become a billionaire I’d have an intern fly here everyday to get me a sandwich cuz it’s just that frickin good.
I apologize because I left a review on another sandwich shop already, saying it was the best in Italy, but I changed my mind! THIS was by far the best sandwich I’ve had in all of Italy during my 3 week experience here. And for such a good price!! Freshest tomatoes and mozzarella, and a lovely staff with such a welcoming environment inside.
A unique and different experience for us. The place felt a bit rushed at times, but the staff were attentive and made sure guests had what they needed. The atmosphere is very simple and relaxed, and overall we enjoyed it. The sandwich wasn’t to my taste, but that’s personal preference. The toilet area could also be cleaner. That said, the staff were friendly and the experience was still enjoyable. Worth trying once.
Very unpretentious but interesting place with a bit of a hippy vibe. They serve an excellent cappuccino (perfectly roasted, neither sour nor bitter, one of the best I’ve had in Florence so far). They also offer simple sandwiches and inexpensive, decent cocktails. The interior feels a bit rough. I understand the aesthetic they’re going for, but it feels slightly uninviting, too dark and somewhat unmaintained. That’s probably why most people prefer to sit outside. If you’re after a funky, budget-friendly experience, it’s definitely worth a visit.
Small sandwich shop that is a short walk outside of the touristy areas and well worth it. The sandwiches here are simple yet delicious. Servers were very friendly and accommodating.
