My wife and I stayed here around a month ago and it was a fantastic setting for exploring Florence, the Hotel was never too far from anything we wanted to explore around the city. The staff around the hotel couldn't do enough for us and the room we chose was lovely as well. The breakfast was always a great start to the day and we always left full enough to fuel our adventures for the day. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a visit.
Exceptional Stay at The Golden Tower Hotel & Spa! Our experience at The Golden Tower Hotel & Spa in Florence was absolutely outstanding from the moment we arrived. One of the first things that impressed us was that they accommodated an early check-in, which was incredibly helpful after our journey. To make our stay even more special, they surprised us with a room upgrade, which was a wonderful gesture and greatly appreciated. The hospitality at this hotel is truly exceptional. Every member of the staff was warm, professional, and eager to help. No matter what we needed, they were always ready to assist with a smile. It genuinely felt like nothing was too much trouble for them. Their dedication to guest satisfaction made us feel welcomed, valued, and completely at home throughout our stay. The location is another major highlight. Situated right in the heart of Florence, the hotel is perfectly central and within easy walking distance of the city’s main attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. The combination of luxury, outstanding service, thoughtful hospitality, and a prime location makes The Golden Tower Hotel & Spa one of the best hotels we have stayed at. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Florence and would gladly stay here again on my next trip. Thank you to the entire team for making our Florence visit so memorable!

Our decision to stay at the Golden Tower Hotel was almost fully based on previous Google reviews and fortunately all extremely accurate. From the moment that we arrived we were warmly greeted by Amanda and Maria Chiara at the Front Desk. They took sincere personal interest in our comfort and made certain that our luggage was safely handled / stored while our rooms were being readied. The hotel is extremely well maintained considering that it served as the primary residence of the 15th. century Florentine Strozzi family. We cannot say enough about the comfortable rooms, magnificent breakfast buffet and the beautiful Florentine architecture especially in the breakfast and bar area. The hotel is amazingly located very close to places of interest, a definite plus! Finally, a special “Grazie” to Amanda, Chiara, Daniele, who were remarkably helpful in locating luggage that we had unfortunately left on the train from Venice. All in all, a memorable stay and a hotel that we most certainly recommend and would choose again for a stay in Florence!
Our stay at the Golden Tower Hotel was exceptional from beginning to end. The level of hospitality truly sets this hotel apart. Upon arrival, the staff actually sat down with us to walk through the hotel, its amenities, and recommendations for Florence, which immediately made us feel welcomed and cared for. The front desk staff was incredible throughout our stay, especially Amanda, who went above and beyond in every way. She was attentive, kind, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a wonderful experience — she even loaned me her charger when I needed one, which perfectly captures the level of service here. The hotel itself is spotless, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. Despite being in such a central location, it was impressively quiet and relaxing. The location could not have been better — it was within walking distance of the best shopping in Florence and surrounded by amazing restaurants, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. The breakfast each morning was delicious, with plenty of options and excellent service. One thing that particularly stood out was how helpful the staff was with navigating driving in Florence, which can be stressful for visitors. They took extra time to assist us and made the process far less intimidating. The room was spacious by European standards, with a very comfortable bed, nice towels, a helpful secondary seating area, and a bathroom that felt both roomy and luxurious. When I return to Florence, I won’t even consider staying anywhere else. Golden Tower Hotel has absolutely earned my loyalty.
The hotel is lovely and in a perfect location to get to everything! But what makes it really special is the staff!! We adored every single one of them! They really made our trip (which started out not so good due to lost luggage) absolutely wonderful! Highly recommend staying here!
