WOW WOW WOW... I did not expect to eat the most amazing food in here. I am beyond impressed. We ordered the florentine steak and gnocchi and let me tell you. I've eaten a lot of steaks in my life that I gave up eating it out but I was recommended to try la fettunta and I am so glad i did. The steak was perfect, melting like butter. Absolutely delicious, enough for a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children.. I recommend it 100 percent. The staff are so welcoming as well and very helpful and kind. Thank you for a lovely dinner.
Fabulous find!! Unassuming on the outside, be careful not to miss this hidden gem. The food was exquisite, the service was great and the staff made great recommendations to us. The florentina Bistecca was absolutely delicious, and for approximately half the price of the shops near the Duomo. Avoid the restaurants by the Duomo that overpriced their meat and didn't even slice it in a lovely presentation. La Fettunta offers much better value and presented the food in a beautiful way, easy-to-eat slices, and also offers delicious side dishes and wine. I'm telling everyone this is the spot to get your Florentina Bistecca!!!
Absolutely incredible meal! Best meal we have had in Florence. We got the florentine Steak to share between two and it was the best steak either of us ever had. We went without a reservation and only waiting around 15 minutes but it does get busy so I think we were lucky in that regard. Incredible place, amazing value, a true florentine meal.
One of the best restaurants we've ever tried! If you’re in Florence, don’t hesitate to visit this place - you’ll experience top-notch service and enjoy some of the most authentic dishes from Florence and the Tuscany region. We first came to La Fettunta for dinner with a Florentine friend, as it’s one of his favorite restaurants in the city. The food was so delicious and the service so outstanding that we made sure to come back again before leaving Florence. And if you’re lucky enough to meet Salvatore, you’re in for a real treat - his warm, genuine Italian hospitality will make your experience even more special. You definitely won’t regret it! Truly a place that made our trip to Florence unforgettable.
Food is not so impressive. Fair price. Service is fine. And atmosphere is okay. Food: 2/5 Pici with meat sauce and mushrooms - meat is good, but the spaghetti is a quite raw (hard) to my taste. Peposo alla fornacina - this one is fine. Nothing special. What bad is you order these two "best seller" together and they does not pair well with each other. Both is beef with sour taste (one from tomato, one from wine). And the staff did not provide much helpful recommendation. Service: 3/5 Generally okay. I found the lgbt staff very cute and charismatic. But the tall brown staff is not very helpful. Others are fine.
