Our waitress Denise was very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food was the best we’ve had so far in Italy! Very cute place and amazing service.
Walking past the charming façade of this restaurant and being greeted by a smiling, welcoming hostess while we looked over the menu, we instantly had a feeling it would be a winner — and our intuition did not fail us! Denice, our hostess and waitress, took wonderful care of us and made fantastic recommendations. We were asked to wait a few minutes while the team finished rearranging tables after a quick paint touch-up, and in the meantime, we were kindly offered a cold beverage — such a thoughtful touch. Once seated, we ordered the pear and pecorino pasta as well as the four-cheese calzone, and both were absolutely out of this world — fresh, flavorful, and truly fantastic. A memorable lunch experience from beginning to end!
The steak here is amazing, and the beef stew is easily the best , Everything on the menu is delicious. The staff are so friendly especially Denisa ,gave great recommendations. Excellent service overall—highly recommended!"
Denise was fabulous! Food was excellent! Very fresh + piping hot! Very well priced. This restaurant is nice for a date, a family dinner, or a large group. Street level entry (one small step in) - so wheelchair friendly) Plenty of seating + so close to the Ponte Vecchio Bridge. Friendly, fast, professional service! 100% recommend!
For a restaurant that's located in a highly touristy spot, the food is quite good! The ribollata soup is hearty and full of flavour. Tastes like health and all good things. I found the mushroom tagliatelle absolutely delightful, simple but high quality. We also had the pear-filled tortellini in gorgonzola sauce, which was such an impressive combination of flavours. And we were still hungry, so we ordered a simple tomato gnocchi which was very very good. Of course to finish, their delicious tiramisu. It is a great option in a busy place if you don't feel like walking to the more secluded places to find the good restaurants in Florence.
