We had such a great lunch experience here in Florence… the food was fresh flavourful and everything was absolutely delicious… truly authentic Italian cuisine. Francesco was informative friendly and such a lovely host… he also told us about the history behind the place which made the experience even more special. It was genuinely such a lovely family experience and we really enjoyed our time here… would definitely recommend it.
Stopped for drink only not bad. warm, attentive service, and good value away from the busiest tourist spots.
The bread rolls were astonishingly good here as well as the steak and dessert. The steak had a wonderful blend of juiciness and flavour to it which I highly enjoyed eating. I'm not exactly sure what the dessert was (attached) since I came here on a school tour in 2024 and that was the alternate food they gave me since I couldn't have gelatin but it was mind blowing to the extent that I still remember it 2 years later 🤤. Also bonus points because I met my boyfriend here 😛
Trattoria Vecchio Mercato is a fantastic place to eat! I tried their Hamburger and the Florentine Steak, and both were excellent. The steak was cooked perfectly. My friends also loved their dishes, especially the lasagna and spaghetti.The service was top-notch. Tony, our host, was very helpful and always made sure we were happy. He clearly wants his customers to have a great time.I highly recommend Trattoria Vecchio Mercato! It’s a great spot.
