we loved the location !! We were 4 people travelling, 2 rooms. Both very very nice, and ours, room 335 super. It was spacious and nice views. The staff was very positive and happy people. We liked the breakfast, we enjoyed in a cozy patio outside. We needed a new minibar fridge, and the maintenance was so quick and helpful. Would go again if travelling in center of Florence.
We stayed in 2 rooms. The second floor room has some cute and interesting architecture. So pretty. Our room on the 3rd floor was a tad hot as the a/c wasn’t as strong. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The breakfast in the courtyard was charming. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was amazing as it was close to all the major attractions. Definitely would recommend for anyone staying in Florence.
A wonderful place to stay. Very central to all the historic parts of the city, yet away from the crowds. There are a lot of great little restaurants and bakeries and gelato right next to the hotel. If you have any questions or concerns the staff are eager to help and very knowledgeable. Margaret at the front desk was always taking her time explaining to people where they should go and was a great resource for restaurants. I loved the entire experience of the room details, the breakfast, and the evening glass of Prosecco. I will definitely return as soon as I can get back to Florence.
If I could give Il Guelfo Bianco more than 5 stars I would! It is truly a very special place. The location is perfect for navigating throughout Florence. The staff are absolutely remarkable. They went above and beyond for us while trying to help with a lost luggage and train strike situation that we unexpectedly were faced with. The hotel has a very warm, welcoming feel to it. The candy dishes placed throughout the hotel remind you of being at your grandmother's house. The breakfast always had a good selection of items and very friendly staff!
This hotel was so lovely. I enjoyed staying here. The staff was so nice and gave many excellent recommendations for places to go in Florence. They provided complimentary water and prosecco each day. It was very well kept and clean. The location was very walkable and close to everything. I highly recommend staying here! Grazie!
