This is a lovely little hotel! Great staff, extremely helpful and friendly. Yes, the rooms are small but remember it’s inside a 14th century building!! Very clean. It has a charm all its own. Great location too! Highly recommend and we’ll go back!
We had a great stay at Hotel Duomos Firenze. The location is excellent, close to Santa Maria Novella train station and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions. Our room was spacious, with a renovated bathroom, and the bed was firm and comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection. A special thank you to the receptionists, Taulant and Redi, who were friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help. Quin in the breakfast room also provided great service. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Florence.
My wife and I traveled to Florence in February of 2026 from Los Angeles. We loved our stay at Hotel Duomo Firenze, the hotel staff was so courteous and friendly, especially the chef and the concierge, Filippo. The hotel's breakfast was delicious, and the location was spectacular! Great boutique hotel, 11/10, highly recommend!
My family rented 2 rooms for three nights and we could not have been happier with Hotel Duomo Firenze. The staff was amazing and helpful in every way possible. The breakfast was delicious and substantial, everything from pancakes and pastries to breakfast meats and fruit. Someone was always there to offer you an espresso coffee drink if desired, and I always desire this to start a day. My room and my daughter’s room were both with views of the Duomo which are unmatched. There is only air between you and the Duomo and the walls of the cathedral were actually close enough to feel like a wall in our actual rooms-that close. Right in the center of the city, you are dropped right into the action, which can be very busy in the tourist season that is late spring/summer, which I liked. We were never too far from every museum, statue and river bend in Florence. I would 100% recommend. Thanks Hotel Duomo Firenze!
We stayed in one of the rooms with a balcony view of the Dome and really enjoyed the view and convenient location. We only had breakfast there one of the days during our stay but the food was good. We didn’t find the location too loud since it was far enough up from the street, especially with the door closed. All the hotel staff were very nice and helpful! Even if you don’t book one of the rooms with the dome view balconies, you can still enjoy the same view just by having breakfast outside.
