We had a really great time during our stay. The breakfast was fantastic every morning with plenty of delicious options. A special mention goes to Chef Aman who was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure we were always taken care of. Thank you for such a great experience!
We had a great first impression staying at Hotel Room Mate Luca. The front desk staff, Eleonora and Davide, were very diligent in addressing the room request email I had sent to the hotel in advance. Eleonora even personally took us to see two different rooms so we could decide which one we preferred. Their attentiveness and thoughtful service really surprised and touched us! We were very satisfied with both the hotel's location and its interior facilities. The main entrance has security measures in place, requiring a room key card to access. The hotel is only a 5-minute walk from the T2 tram station (which connects Florence Airport to the city center), and there is a bus stop right at the entrance, yet the hotel itself remains very quiet. The hotel breakfast was also delicious and abundant! Overall, we were very satisfied with Hotel Room Mate Luca.
The breakfast at this hotel was excellent. Aman and Miriam, in particular, provided outstanding service — they were always welcoming and greeted guests with a smile, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The rooms are spacious enough, and the beds are very comfortable. Just keep in mind that if you open the windows, mosquitoes may come inside. Overall, it was a great experience, and I enjoyed my stay.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is great—close enough to all the main attractions, about a 20-minute walk, which made exploring very easy and enjoyable. What truly made my experience special, though, was the restaurant. A big thank you to the chef, Aman. His attitude, kindness, and the quality of the food he prepares are outstanding. You can really feel the care and passion in everything he does. The hotel is very lucky to have someone like him on their team. He made my stay even more memorable.
Staying at Room Mate Luca was truly one of the highlights of my time in Florence. I’ve traveled quite a bit and tend to be selective about where I stay, and this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way! The location is ideal, close (approx 12-15 min walking) to everything you’d want to see while still feeling calm and tucked away after a full day of exploring. Decor was beautiful, breakfast was amazing and ended at 12pm, and checkout was even at 12pm!! Also loved that there was a laundry mat next door and a wine bar across the street! My room was a single twin which gave me more space and the windows actually open. The bed was a little too firm for me, but that is just my preference. What stood out most to me though was the genuine hospitality of the staff. Eleonora, Sara, Erida, & Augusto were the absolute BEST!!! Every interaction felt warm, effortless, and genuine, which made a lasting impression on me. They even helped me make reservations and book a medical appointment! If you’re visiting Florence and want a place that truly elevates your experience, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here..I already know I’ll be back.
