In the heart of Florence, just a few steps from the Medici's palace and gardens, join us in this experience led by a Florentine passionate wine expert. Get prepared to know everything about Natural wine, which is the unfiltered, untamed, unphoto-shopped version of what we know to be wine. In this natural wine class, you will learn how wine is made, where it comes from and why you should care! This is an exploration into the styles and techniques behind one of the hottest trends in wine, and why there may be a lot more connections to classical winemaking than you think. You will learn what makes a wine natural and you’ll have the opportunity to taste through contemporary styles to see what all the hype is about! Your wine expert will guide you through the entire tasting and give you insight into the delicate natural winemaking process. They will also be able to answer any questions you have along the way. This wine tasting is the perfect balance of both fun and informative. This is an experience for people that want to discover and try wines that go far beyond the classic Chianti, Barolo, or Prosecco. It is about small and artisan producers that make wine not so easy to access as their production is very limited. Aromas and flavors that you will not find are common but will make you think how the wine universe can be both diverse and exciting. During our wine tasting you will be served with four glasses of wine in this particular order: sparkling, white, orange, and red wine. You can also buy the wine you prefer directly in the shop after the experience with a special discount for you. The tasting will take place in a private wine shop and tasting room in the Oltrarno area (not in a public, busy or congested wine bar!)
