Description
Paper marbling is a traditional artisan practice from Rennaisance Florence and our workshop is to share the culture, a brief history and demonstration of this unique art dating back centuries. We will introduce the materials, showing a quick demonstration that includes paper treatment, mixing colours, and pattern techniques & tools. Then you will be free to explore and make your own papers to take home. * Lessons are at a local art studio. Space is air conditioned and heated seasonally. * The length of the workshop is about 1.5, 2 hours *Suitable for all ages, the workshop is family/child friendly! Private groups available, simply choose days/time on request and message for special availability & pricing CANCELLATIONS- due to material & space prep refunds are only approved with over 48 Hour notice. Less than 24 Hours notice or No-shows will be charged full amount. ** A min. qty of participants is required for this activity to take place. Single person bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled if there are no other participants on that slot.
