I was a bit worried about the cleanliness after reading some of the reviews, but I didn’t experience anything that would justify those concerns. The room was clean, and housekeeping was done daily. The staff were kind and friendly. I didn’t have the chance to try the breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. If you’re a student looking for an affordable place to stay while spending most of your time exploring the city, I would definitely recommend this hotel. It’s also in a great location—very close to all the main attractions, with most places within walking distance.
A very nice hotel with a great price, especially considering how expensive accommodation in Florence can be. The location is excellent — it takes less than 20 minutes to walk to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. The breakfast was also very convenient. Although it was simple, it was more than enough for travellers and made the morning much easier. The only small issue is that the city tax needs to be paid in cash, which can be a bit inconvenient if you don’t have any cash with you. Apart from that, everything was very good, and I would recommend this hotel.
We had a great experience at Hotel Garden Blue. The hotel stands out for its excellent location, making it very easy to explore Florence and visit the main attractions on foot. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered very good accommodation for our stay. Another highlight was the staff — everyone was very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help whenever we needed assistance. We also really appreciated the hotel’s flexibility regarding check-in and check-out matters, which made our trip much more convenient and stress-free. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Florence!
