Born from an idea of Dario Cecchini, butcher and poet, the Antica Macelleria Cecchini has been offering for years now an absolutely unique service.
Surrounded by the wonderful Tuscan countryside, less than an hour away from Florence, the Antica Macelleria Cecchini offers very inviting and original set menus.
To rule the roost, of course, is the flesh.
The three formulas are: Dario DOC, Officina della Bistecca and Solociccia. A different menu is studied for each 'section', and it varies from 10 up to 50 euros.
Some of the courses created by the poet/butcher are: the chianti-style sushi, chianti tuna, mac dario and chianti butter.
