Established by Pietro Paoli in 1824, the trattoria became very famous at the beginning of the twentieth century when Pietro's son, Cesare, was the owner. Originally it was a simple food shop with marble-topped tables, with a most varied and colorful clientele. Today the tradition is still alive, and the ambience still holds its charm.
