Typical Florentine
In the villa that once hosted the Italian poet Gabriele D’Annunzio there’s now the restaurant pizzeria La Capponcina. Up in the hill of Settignano, it overlooks Florence offering a memorable landscape, especially in summer.
The kitchen offers typical Mediterranean and Tuscan dishes. You must definitely try the Tuscan starter, the mixed fried meats (from the farmyard), the Florentine T-bone steak, the beef fillets sliced up and served on a bed of lettuce.
Sitting in the garden is a true pleasure in summer, especially in hot evenings you will enjoy fresh air, delicious food and a stunning view.
