Palazzo Strozzino, the building in which the cinema is located, was built in 1462 and is considered among one of the most interesting example of Renaissance architecture. Palazzo Strozzino was renovated at the beginning of the 20th, the back and the courtyard was transformed into an elegant art nouveau cinema-theatre which was opened in 1922. In the last years it is home to various movie festivals and original sound movies - check the programme here:
