Description

Embark on a culinary adventure that will make your stay in Italy truly unforgettable. We’ll begin our journey at the historic San Pierino Market, where you’ll select the freshest seasonal ingredients alongside local farmers and vendors .Please note: The historic San Pierino Market is open only in the mornings during the summer season and closes daily at 2 PM. Therefore, only our morning classes starting at 10 AM include the market visit. The market is also closed entirely during the month of August for Ferragosto. Next, we’ll head to our charming rooftop terrace—offering stunning panoramic views over Florence. Please note: the journey up to the terrace involves climbing a few flights of stairs followed by an elevator ride. Once we arrive, we’ll roll up our sleeves right away and start preparing a classic Italian bruschetta together. It’s the perfect icebreaker—chatting, laughing, and getting to know each other as we slice, season, and taste. Afterward, you’ll learn the secrets to creating an authentic tiramisu, layering each ingredient to build this beloved dessert so it can chill to perfection while we continue cooking. Finally, it’s time to roll up your sleeves for the highlight of the class: mastering the art of handmade pasta. Guided step-by-step, you’ll craft two varieties from scratch, embracing a cherished Italian tradition passed down through generations. Our skilled sous chefs will prepare exquisite sauces to pair perfectly with your pasta, ensuring an authentic, mouthwatering meal. Finally, we’ll gather around a beautiful table to enjoy your handmade pasta, bruschetta, and tiramisu—paired with local wine, warm conversation, and breathtaking views of Florence. Sample Menu : • Starter: Classic Bruschetta • First Courses: Handmade pasta (two varieties with chef-prepared sauces) • Dessert: Tiramisu We Cater to You: Vegetarian, gluten-free, and allergy-friendly options are available. Just let us know at booking. On rainy days, we’ll comfortably dine indoors, with plenty of windows to still enjoy the beautiful view of Florence.
